Pirates of the Glades Parade
Ahoy, mateys! Raise the Jolly Roger and get ready to set sail for some swashbuckling fun at the Black Gold Jubilee’s Pirate Golf Cart Parade! This year, we’re calling all captains, crews, scallywags, and landlubbers to transform their golf carts into vessels worthy of the high seas.
Participants are invited to deck out their carts in their best pirate-inspired designs — think pirate ships, treasure chests, skulls and crossbones, tropical hideaways, sea creatures, and plenty of buccaneer creativity. Gather your crew, dress the part, and don’t be afraid to go overboard!
The pirate fleet will make its way through the scenic Torry Island RV Park, giving spectators a front-row seat as these one-of-a-kind creations sail by.
A panel of judges will score each cart and award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. Whether your cart becomes a mighty pirate ship, a treasure-laden hideout, or something no landlubber has ever seen before, this is your chance to get creative and help kick off the Jubilee with a little pirate mischief.
So gather your crew, ready your vessel, and join the fleet — adventure and treasure await!
